The vineyards are situated in the Baden-Baden wine area. The soils consists of weathered sandstone and granite.

Vinification:

Gentle transport of the grapes and whole-cluster pressing. Followed by cold settling for about 12 hours and temperature-controlled fermentation at temperatures below 16 °C.
