NÄGELSFÖRST - Auslese-Weine

EISWEIN

RIESLING
KLOSTERBERGFELSEN
SWEET

Complex fragrance with an inviting aromatic of quince apples, peaches and mature mango, backed with spicy nuances and delicate hints of mint. Concentrated in the mouth, tight, punchy fresh, with a present long-lasting acidity structure that is wonderfully balancing and in harmony with the oily-like residual sweetness.

KLOSTERBERGFELSEN

The vineyard is located directly below the NАGELSFÖRST Estate on a steep southern slope. At an altitude of 300 meters, the Klosterbergfelsen vineyard features a terroir characterised by a wide variety of stone and rock, such as arkose sandstone mixed with slate, argillite, and volcanic rock. This mixture is unique in the region, and yields a mineral-rich substrate that is transported to the grapes by the juice of the vines, giving minerality to our wines.

MAUERBERG
SWEET

Berry-sweet nose, apple compote, cooked Berries, concise acidity, very present. On the palate then sweet and tart, dark fruits, licorice, some caramel and maple syrup notes. Very good finishing with sweet dense long lasting aftertaste, again with concise acidity.

MAUERBERG

The vineyard is located in the village Neuweier in Baden-Baden-Rebland. This historic top location is a steep slope where the vineyards are laid out in narrow terraces supported by dry-stone walls. The special microclimate of this location – combined with the poor granite weathering soils – provides mineral, richly textured Rieslings of the highest complexity and elegance.
