Meaning:
The impressive panoramic view over the ancient, steep vineyard location overseeing the Bühlertal following completed manual work.

Powerful, concentrated Pinot noir from old vines. Impressive palate with spicy and berry-like notes and a long finish.

stewed dishes with hand-grated spaetzle or beef fillet.

Vine yard:

The vineyards are situated in the village of Bühlertal, which is very well known for its red wines. The terroir consists of lighter residual granite soil with a steep South/Southwest slope.

Yield:

41 hl/ha; Sugar content at harvest 98 °Oe.

Analyses:

Alcohol 13,2 % by vol.; Residual sugar 0,6 g/l; Total Acidity 5,8 g/l.

Vinification:

Selectively hand-picked grapes were gently destemmed. A traditional fermentation on the skins was conducted for 30 days followed by malolactic fermentation and maturation of the wine for 12-monthes in
