The finest essence from the ancient Pinot Noir vines at the Engelsfelsen, carrying elegant aromas for the most beautiful hours of the day.

Experience:

Generous variety of aromas of blueberries and rosehip. On the palate, this Pinot Noir looks very elegant and balanced with a gripping long finish in a spicy-dry finish.

Elegantly with:

whole-roasted saddle of venison with rosemary potatoes.
Drinking temperature: 16 -18 °C



Vine yard:

The two vineyards are located in the red wine community Bühlertal - Engelsfelsen. The primeval weathering soil has a light clay loess pad.

Yield:

38 hl/ha; Sugar content at harvest 96°Oe.

Analyses:

Alcohol 13,5 % by vol.; Residual sugar 0,4 g/l; Total Acidity 5,8 g/l.

Vinification:

After a selective hand picking, the grapes were separated from the stalk. A traditional 22-day mash fermentation and malolactic fermentation took place, as well as the 16-month maturation.
